Terms and Conditions

1. Applicability and organization

These General Terms and Conditions apply to the TURF festival and to all services, products, and tickets offered via www.turf-event.nl. By purchasing a ticket or attending the event, you agree to these terms and conditions.

TURF is organized byTURF Foundation, legally established atDruivenstraat 55, 4816DP Breda, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 94434182. For questions or complaints: info@turf-event.nl.

2. Tickets, prices and payment

  • Access to TURF is only possible with a valid ticket purchased through the official sales channels of www.turf-event.nl or designated resale platforms.
  • All prices include VAT and exclude any service charges, which are listed separately at checkout.
  • Tickets are personal and non-transferable to third parties for commercial purposes.
  • Tickets are non-refundable. Because it concerns a service with a fixed performance date., no statutory right of withdrawal applies pursuant to Article 6:230p sub e of the Dutch Civil Codeafter purchase.
  • It is not permitted to duplicate tickets, resell them above face value, or use them commercially without written permission from the organization.
  • Loss, theft, or damage to a ticket (digital or physical) is at the visitor's risk; the organization is not obliged to issue a replacement ticket.

3. Access and house rules

  • The minimum age for entry varies by TURF location. Each location applies its own policy regarding this. Visitors are required to show valid identification upon request; entry may be refused in case of doubt or if this is missing.
  • Visitors must comply with the instructions of the organization and security at the respective location.
  • It is not permitted to bring dangerous objects, your own food/drinks, or prohibited substances to any location whatsoever. The full house rules can be found at www.turf-event.nl/huisregels and are posted at the entrance.
  • In case of violation of the house rules, entry may be refused or denied, without the right to a refund.

4. Program, changes, cancellation and refund

  • The organization reserves the right to change the program, the line-up, and the opening hours. Minor changes do not entitle you to a refund.
  • In the event of force majeure (such as extreme weather conditions, a pandemic, or government measures), the event may be postponed or cancelled.
  • In the event of a complete cancellation of the event by the organization, visitors will receive within four weeksafter the cancellation date the choice of: (a) refund of the ticket price, or (b) a voucher for a future edition. Service fees may be excluded from this.
  • In the event of the event being rescheduled, the ticket remains valid for the new date; visitors who are unable to attend on the new date are entitled to a refund within the period mentioned above.

5. Visual material (photos and videos)

  • During TURF, photos and videos are taken for reporting and promotion. By attending the event, you may appear recognizably in atmospheric footage.
  • Image material is used exclusively for the promotion of TURF (current and future editions) and will be reviewed for removal no later than 3 years after publication, unless the image is still actively being used.
  • If you do not wish to be recognizable in the footage, please inform the photographer/videographer on site. If you appear in a photo and would like it removed, please email info@turf-event.nl with a description and the time; TURF will remove or render the image unrecognizable within a reasonable timeframe.
  • For large-scale media recordings (e.g., an aftermovie), individual removal is not always possible; this is assessed on a case-by-case basis.

6. Liability

  • Visiting TURF is at your own risk.
  • The organization's liability for damage to persons or property, or loss/theft of property, is excluded, unless caused by intent or gross negligence on the part of the organization.
  • The organization is not liable for indirect damages, including consequential damages, lost travel expenses, or missed working days as a result of program changes, delays, or cancellations.

7. Safety and health

  • TURF complies with applicable laws and regulations regarding safety and health on event grounds.
  • Visitors must follow instructions from security, first aid, and the organization; in case of violation, access may be refused or termination without the right to a refund.

8. Privacy

Personal data is processed when purchasing tickets. TURF handles this with care and uses data exclusively for the execution of the agreement and communication regarding the event, in accordance with the GDPR, in collaboration with official partners. 9. Complaints and disputes

  • You can submit complaints about an order or the event withinn14 daysSubmit afterwards via info@turf-event.nl. TURF will respond within a reasonable timeframe, generally within 14 days.

If you cannot resolve the matter with TURF, you can submit your dispute to the European Commission ODR platform or the competent Dutch court.

10. Applicable law and amendments

  • These General Terms and Conditions are governed by Dutch law. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the district of Breda, North Brabant, the Netherlands.
  • The organization may amend these terms and conditions at any time. The current version can be found at www.turf-event.nl/terms-and-conditions, stating the date of the last amendment.
